  1. We aim to provide a stable supply of products that meet quality requirements in order to enhance customer satisfaction.
  2. We realize the following environmental protection activities, including pollution prevention.
     (1) Provide products that aim to reduce or eliminate hazardous chemical substances.
     (2) Green procurement or utilization of recycled resources
     (3) Reduction of energy consumption
  3. We clarify and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and other requirements to which we are subject.
  4. We improve our performance by continually improving the effectiveness of this quality and environmental management system
  5. We make this policy known to all employees and strive to achieve it.

January 1955 Sugimoto Co., Ltd. (capital: 1 million JPY) is founded in Wakayama City and begins selling dyeing materials in Kinki and Shikoku regions in Japan.
April 1959 Capital is increased to 3 million JPY.
Osaka business office is opened (1-15 Karamono-cho, Higashi-ku, Osaka).
Begins selling wire drawing lubricants to many companies in Japan, for example, Kobe Steel, Yawata Iron and Steel, Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Tokyo Rope Manufacturing, and Kawasaki Steel.
August 1962 Sugimoto Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. is founded in Uzu, Wakayama City and starts manufacture of metal soaps, wire drawing lubricants, and textile in Kurusu, Wakayama City.
November 1969 Sugimoto Co., Ltd. and Sugimoto Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. are consolidated into Dainichi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. The factory is located at 7-3-4 Nakaishikiri-cho, Higashiosaka-shi, Osaka.
April 1995 Capital is increased to 10 million JPY.
September 2000 ISO9001 certification is obtained.
September 2002 ISO14001 certification is obtained.
November 2014 ISO9001 and ISO14001 are combined to Integrated Management System.
June 2015 Product storing operation and shipping operation are outsourced.
February 2016 A new plant for functional additives manufacturing begins operations.
July 2017 Forms a business alliance (partnership) with FORMOSA ORGANIC CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO., LTD.
September 2017 Transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
